Light snow is likely friday and saturday all of Kentucky. Early accum potential is 1-3 inches regionwide.

This first entry will be brief.
1. Travel problems were expected across a large area and that did develope.
2. On average an inch or less of snow with some ice was expected. Thats what happened.
3. Warm air surge was identified well ahead of the system.
4.Event expected to be short lived and it was.
5.Temperatures were expected to rise well above freezing by 10am over most of the region and that also happened.
The accuracy can be attributed to using SREF model, satelite, radar trends, automated weather reporting stations and comparing actual weather to model projections and then tying it all together.
