My name is Bernie. I’m a famous Hollywood star or should I say WANNABE! lol I live in a small town in eastern Kentucky, it’s so small that its not even on the map! lol I have and will always be a computer/website geek. I’m just a hillbilly from the hills.. so get used to me ranting out things that don’t make a bit sense!
I have 2 beautiful kids that God has blessed me with. My oldest son is Austin, His mom and I split/divorced in '95. She got custody of him for the next 12 years. I didn't get a chance to know him or even see him. But recently he has decided to live with me and now and he's a blessing to have around and I finally get a chance for us to start getting to know each other. Austin is now 14 years old and time has been my worst enemy. Time sure flies by! My daughter Rebecca is 10 now, and seems like just yesterday, I was bringing her home from the hospital! Rebecca was born with a skin disease known as Eczema or atopic dermatitis.. There is no cure for it, it’s not contagious, but when its flared up, her skin is covered with what looks to be poison ivy, but worse.. and God knows it itches like crazy! I only wished I could trade her my skin so she wouldn’t have to go through her childhood with that kind of problem.. I love SPORTS, I’m a HUGE NFL freak, my team is the PITTSBURGH STEELERS! We have a new coach in Mike Tomlin

I'm a HUGE NCAA FOOTBALL freak, my team is the KENTUCKY WILDCATS! GOOO BIG BLUE! Although in recent years they haven't been competing, its good to know that we have a real good team this year.
OF COURSE, I’m a HUGE NCAA BASKETBALL freak, my team is the KENTUCKY WILDCATS! GOOO BIG BLUE! We have a new coach in Billy G and I’m definately looking forward to the upcoming season with him being the new head coach, I’m so thankful for him wanting to coach here in KENTUCKY! With a little hard work, we’ll see our WILDCATS back in the FINAL 4 within the next 4 years!
Weather is one of the passions of life that I have! I love watching it storm, I have a deep interest in tornadoes and hopefully I get to see one from a safe distance and away from any people or property. Although I NEVER like seeing a tornado hitting a town, destroying life or property.. Thats not my weather passion is about, I just hope that makes sense. I love all the 4 seasons, but fall/winter is my favorite time of the year, since we have holidays embedded during that time.. HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING, & CHRISTMAS.. Halloween brings the kid out in me! I can dress up and act like the biggest ugliest monster on the block! (thats a yearly job for me!) lol Thanksgiving, what an awesome joy, is being able to sit down and being thankful for a BIG FAT TURKEY on the table thats screaming my name to carve it up and chow it down, like there is no tomorrow! lol GITRDONE! Just kidding, Thanksgiving to me is a time to relax with the family and friends. Also a time to have a chance to breath a moment and think about what I'm thankful for. Christmas is the most precious time for a family to see the smiles of kids, knowing they got what they wanted for the year.. and then January comes and I complain about how I am going to catchup on the bills! lol
I love music, from BLUEGRASS to ROCK ‘N ROLL. From singers like Ralph Stanley and Ralph Stanley II to AC/DC. YEH the OLD 70s/80s/90s RULE the music world. I still haven’t come to terms with RAP, just yet.. maybe someday I can understand it! lol The music depends on the day and what kind of mood I’m in. I even listen to the old FOLK music, singers like Hazel Dickens.. My favorite country band is “BLACKHAWK” I love all of their songs!
I Love watching movies.. IF its been out, I say I have seen it! lol I love the girly movies too! the kind that makes your eyes water at the end and has a little heart and meaning to it.. One of my favorites is “THE MAN IN THE MOON” touching story that begin my girly movie interest.. I love action movies like “HARLEY DAVIDSON AND THE MARLBORO MAN” Yes I love to have a Harley, just never been able to afford one. Got one for donation?? lol
I love classic cars, a 1969 Chevy Camaro, a 1963 Chevy Corvette Convertable, 1955 Ford Thunderbird, a 1967 GT Mustang Cobra, would be awesome to have.
My utimate goal in life or to complete my life now would be able to open a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen for the needy and the hungry. God has really blessed me during the years and always been there when I needed Him the most. That would be a way of my appreciation of God, Family, Friends that are always there for me. I wouldn't want to change anything in my life. I love life and I try to enjoy it every minute that I can. So maybe God will bless me once again and together we can get something started for the needy.
