I'm happily married and work as a machinist (yes, that is truly hard work [under a microscope]). I have two adult children - my daughter is a paralegal (but wants to be a published writer)and my son is a tow truck driver and drives a big rig truck from time to time across country. I have five grandkids and two great grandsons.
I generally am a stay at home dad, except for work, and this is what I do for some passtime. At first there was TV and movies but then came the advent of computers and the infamous publishing of idiot books for the internet users. That started a new life for me along with the kids involvement in gamming, now POGO. Still learning new things and this is one of them. As the pic. shows I am mature but I still have that young inquisitiveness in me to help explore this world. With the added friends here it may be a much larger one. There maybe times I don't do too much but I do try and get along.
Most of my creative measures do come by way of insperations of the net and my daughter. We try to fend off the normal things that tend to make to sterio type of person we should be.
In the other indevers I do about the house as in keeping it as pleasant and good looking as possible, I plant things and try to grow veggies with the help of my wife. She has taken over this year in planting what she wanted and I do some of the watering. My favorit is the tomatoes, I like fried green tomatoes and red cheery tomatoes. We did this at another time but didn't do too well so just keep trying till somthing happens.
Veiwing the net and the many related areas of interest I do post the some groups and play their games as well as contribute my own ideas for others. It is interesting to note that we all need a place to play with our minds and still retain a natural feel of importance. I get moody at times and this is no place to vent if the control is lost because a keyboard has a cost and it may not be replaced too often. I keep a cool head then come back to it later.
Posting blogs is somewhat new, even though, I have been posting them, it is still different each time I enter a post. Of course there is more to anyone's life to influance this entry, but this is a fair idea as to where I stand. |
